Our new BBQ

We gave Alex our old gas grill and then bought a Green Mountain Grill pellet bbq. I now need to relearn cooking as this is a whole new way to bbq....slow cooking.

R.I.P. Max

Yesterday we had to say "farewell" to our dog Max. Bladder cancer got the best of him as he approached his 14th birthday (that makes him 78 in dog years). Lori and I will both miss him. Since I retired, he had become my "little shadow" as he wanted to be everywhere I was.

Silver Falls State Park

Lori and I did a 8.7 mile hike yesterday that took us by 10 waterfalls. Here are a few of those waterfalls. The weather was perfect. This state park is only about 1 to 1 1/2 hours south of us in Oregon. Been living here all these years and had never been there until yesterday.
