Yesterday's hike, Oneonta Gorge.

1st you had to navigate giant boulders and a massive log jam.

Then it became relatively easy.

Then yes, you had to wade through deep water. It was up to my arm pits and shockingly cold.

All to reach this beautiful waterfall. It's only .6 miles in but very different and unique.

Checking out Oregon's newest state park, Cottonwood Canyon

I thought this to be an interesting name choice since I didn't see ANY cottonwoods. In fact, there were no trees at all except for a few dozen newly planted trees near the river. Oh well, we came, we saw, we went. Unless you are in to rafting or fishing, I see no need to return.
